This brooch is stunning - it measures 2" x 1 1/2" and is a very heavy gold-tone metal, probably brass?  The center stone in a highly faceted amethyst colored rhinestone and it is bezel set in the most intricate pressed metal.  The pinstem extends past the brooch and is in excellent working condition.  There is a lovely patina to the metal.  This vintage piece is in very good condition.
