Absolutely wonderful 1-7/8" x 5/8" Etruscan memorial mourning brooch with a hidden compartment containing woven blond hair. The brooch itself is 9 ct. gold (stamped), and embellished with a small mine-cut diamond and two red stones which I assume are garnets.  The safety catch dates the piece to the Edwardian era (around 1911).   This is a fabulous antique treasure in excellent condition.  WAS $145.00 - NOW $135.00
