Dramatic genuine Navajo Turquoise and Sterling silver ring with a 'sign post' mark on the inside of the band. Size 8-1/4, excellent condition. The natural turquoise stone is 1" long by 1/4" wide. This hallmark is generally attributed to Bell Trading Post a.k.a. General Insignia Company. Most of their pieces were made by Native Americans for the tourist trade and sold along the Railroad Lines throughout the Southwest. This ring likely dates to the 1940s.
