Ornate and outstanding 2" x 1-1/4" sterling brooch from the Victorian era.  The brooch features a raised Maltese cross in the center (the red mark on the cross in my photo is a camera reflection).  There are no markings but it is definitely sterling.  The brooch is equipped with a sturdy c-clasp and an extended pinstem attached to a tubular hinge.  Truly, one of the most beautiful and unique Victorian pins I've ever seen.  Excellent condition.
